The Jaguar Mk2, here in green paint with wire wheels epitomises the
elegance and sophistication of British saloon cars in the 1960s. The Mk2
was powered by a range of engines, with the top model
featuring a 3.8-litre straight-six, producing 220bhp. This allowed the
Mk2 to achieve a top speed of 125mph, making it one of the fastest
four-door saloons of the day. The car's performance, coupled with its
luxurious interior, made it a favourite among celebrites, bank robbers, and even the Old Bill.
