The Jaguar Mk2 here in maroon paint and with steel wheels, epitomises the
elegance and sophistication of the great British saloon cars popular in the 1960s. The Mk2
was powered by a range of engines, with the top-of-the-line model
featuring a 3.8-litre straight-six producing 220bhp. This gave the
Mk2 a top speed of 125mph making it one of the fastest
four-door saloons of its time. That performance, coupled with its
luxurious interior, made it a favourite among gentlefolk, villains, and the police alike.
The Mk2's design is timeless. Its curvaceous body, characteristic grill, and
distinct chrome accents gave it a commanding presence on the road. The interior of the Mk2 was equally
luxurious, with polished wooden veneers and sumptuous leather seats offering
enviable comfort and style. It was chosen by dignitaries, celebrities and racing
drivers, and is one of the most collectible classic Jaguar cars ever
