[art #275]. Limited Edition Print by Steve Dunn.

The Jaguar XJR-9LM (1988), in its iconic Silk Cut purple, white, and gold livery, is a legend in the world of endurance racing. This car, bearing the #2 race number, was the vehicle that took Jaguar back to glory with a victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988. Powered by a 7.0-litre V12 engine producing over 750bhp, the XJR-9LM was designed to take on the best from Porsche and dominate in the Group C category.

Driven by a team that included legendary drivers like Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace, and Johnny Dumfries, the XJR-9LM outpaced its competition to take the overall win at Le Mans. Its aerodynamic design, combined with a lightweight chassis, allowed it to achieve incredible speeds while maintaining stability. The Silk Cut sponsorship and bold graphics make this car instantly recognisable and one of the most famous Jaguars in racing history.
