"Jaguar XJ-S TWR" (1984)
The Jaguar XJ-S TWR (1984) was a formidable racing machine, developed by Tom
Walkinshaw Racing (TWR). This particular car, driven by Tom Walkinshaw
and Win Percy, was a dominant force in Group A racing, particularly in
the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC). Under the bonnet was a
highly-tuned 5.3-litre V12 engine, producing over 400bhp, which gave it
blistering speed and an unmistakable roar on the track.
The TWR-prepped XJ-S was renowned for its balance and handling, thanks
to extensive chassis development. Its broad stance and aerodynamic
tweaks made it a favourite among race fans, with its signature green and
white paint scheme becoming instantly recognisable. In 1984, this car
claimed multiple victories, showcasing Jaguar's engineering prowess and
