The Koenigsegg CCR (2004) is a
car that firmly placed Koenigsegg on the map as a producer of world-beating
supercars. Upon its release, the CCR briefly held the title of the
world's fastest production car, reaching a top speed of 241mph at
Nardò Ring, Italy, in 2005 beating the McLaren F1's record. This
Swedish-built phenomenon is powered by a 4.7-litre twin-supercharged V8,
producing an incredible 806bhp and 920 Nm of torque.
The metallic orange paintwork accentuates the CCR's aggressive lines and
low-slung, aerodynamic design, giving it an aura of pure speed. The
lightweight carbon fibre body and Koenigsegg's signature dihedral
synchro-helix doors add a futuristic touch to its design. Inside, the
minimalistic, driver-focused cabin ensures that all attention is on the
car's performance which can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. The CCR
represents the pinnacle of early 2000s hypercar technology showcasing
Koenigsegg's relentless pursuit of speed and innovation.
